Meet Dr. Malinda Davenport Crisp
Malinda has been practicing in the Nashville area for over 20 years. Her PhD from Trevecca University, earned in 2014, is in Clinical Counseling and Supervision. She attended Vanderbilt University where she earned an undergraduate degree in Human and Orgnaizational Development. In addition to specialized training in EMDR, ART, DBT as well in Rule 31 family & civil mediation, she utilizes NVC to bring skillful communication techniques into her practice.
She specializes in assessment and treatment of compulsive behavior problems and other self-defeating behavior problems. Anger management, addiction/recovery, codependency, life transition, conflict resolution, and more are issues she has experience in treating. She is also experienced with individuals struggling with issues ranging from sexuality, self-esteem, to existential or spiritual issues. I work with couples or individuals who wish to explore and overcome the challenges of being in an intimate relationship, parenting, divorce, recovery, and/or codependency issues.
She believes therapy is a collaborative effort and there is always hope for change.She enjoys developing a vision, setting goals, and taking critical steps while celebrating change and successes along the way. She's your partner and coach in optimizing your mental health. Those who feel comfortable call me Dr. D. and so can you.

Meet Randy Cook, LPC /MHSP (temp)
Randy spent a 35-year career leading various healthcare organizations and raising a family. Since 1996, he has been working and growing a man's community to improve men's health. In retirement, Randy is focusing his wisdome, compassion, and experience on helping men and their families heal from emotional wounds stemming fro toxic masculinity.
Randy has earned a Master's degree in Theological Studies from Vanderbilt Divinity School and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Heallth Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. Randy continues to engage in sertifications and training workshops expanding on his understanding. He offers counseling to individuals, coupkes, and groups. He enjoys organizing and leading retreats and workshops for mean and supporting men's health in the community at large.
Randy is under supervision while he holds a temporary license as a LPC/MHSP.
