Men's Health
We offer one-on-one therapy for men and boys. Standard counseling theories and techniques are used, but converted to approaches specialized for men and boys. Depression, anxiety, low self-worth, and other problems are discussed in the language of father/mother wounds, inner child, imbalance of male energy, negative core beliefs, finding masculine strength, and other approaches.

Nice Guy Recovery Group
Many men struggle with the “Nice Guy Syndrome,” a term coined in the book, No More Mr. Nice Guy. Nice Guys give up their power, hide their mistakes, suppress their needs, and use many other maladaptive strategies. They do this because, at the core, they do not believe they are worthy to have their needs met. This therapy group consists of men supporting each other in recovering from their Nice Guy Syndrome.
Happy Warriors Group
A supportive therapy group for men with chronic depression. In this group we focus on reducing depression symptoms, building resilience, and fostering connection. Find support, strategies for happiness, and confidence in your worthiness with a network of brothers.
Did you know?
There are health risks specific to men.
Men are at a greater risk than women for certain health conditions, including heart disease, stroke, certain cancers, and kidney stones, as well as some mental health conditions like alcohol-use disorders. It's interesting how men tend to take more risks in our society across seemingly most domains. Men have been shown to be riskier drivers than women (higher insurance rates). Men also tend to make much riskier choices in investing (most people I see/know who invest in crypto) have been men. Men also have shorter lifespans than women in part due to risky behavior. One hypothesis on why this is would be because men are much more pressured to outperform and outcompete others than women are. This generally involves taking risks. These health risks are often compounded by lifestyle factors ultimately affecting their longevity and quality of life. Addressing these issues through targeted health initiatives support can lead to improved outcomes for men. One benefit of improving men's health through therapy may involve removing this pressure so many men face and addressing underlying issues and needs that men have but feel compelled to conceal or deny experiencingmall together. Food for thought!
